Thanks for the compliments. This video has really taken off. More hits in the first day than any other I've done so far. I wanted to go to the San Angelo race. My wife is from there and our family renunion was that weekend too. But I wasn't healed up enough from the bypass enough so the Dr wouldn't allow it.

Those top fuel boats are a little harder to follow but I got good footage on all of them. Missed the fip over in the gambler round I was just moving positions when that happened. Glad the driver was back in the announcing booth sore but good to go otherwise in an hour or so. His boat wasn't so lucky but will live to run again.

Sure wish I wasn't disabled so I could video races for a living. But then again if I hadn't become disabled I probably wouldn't have ever picked up a video camera in the first place.  Its all good though. I go video some kind of motorsports on the weekend and edit during the week. Mostly remote controlled racing but I'm starting to do more full sized stuff. Only thing is R/C is always free  and the other stuff isn't. I'd love to go back tomorrow but I can't afford another day. I'm hoping that somone local will see these videos and next year I can get a media wrist band from the local paper or something so I can go all three days.

Well it looks like the tape from this morning has finished capturing. Time to start on another video.

This vid is a mix of Friday night's show and shine and Saturday Qualifying. I overdid it big time and paid for it last night. As you might notice from the time of this posting I either get up real early or I haven't been to bed. Its the latter unfortunaetly. Foot is hurting too bad to sleep so I edit like I always do when that happens :) I was hoping I'd have enough left over to get back out there today at least until noon but I'm fading fast and looks like this one will be it. Next year I'll get the Waco San Angelo and Marble Falls race. Maybe more as I find out more about where they take place. Can't travel too far but occasionally we do like to get out of town for a few days.

I had such a great time my wife and I started figureing out if we can get out to Phoenix in November for the Finals. We'll have to do it college roadtrip style on the cheap but I have the bug now and I'll figure out some way to get out there. Hoping these vids will encourage someone to shove a media pass my way to help with the costs and get me into the 'special' spots to video from.

I couldn't stay away and went back today for some more. Should have stayed home though I ended up chucking my lunch and had to come home. It was HOT today. But I should have enough with those runs today and some more from the other days I haven't put in yet to make one more vid.

We didn't get to go out of town this summer at all so I sure hope this trip works out. My urge to roam has been stifled too long :)

Fuel prices have kept me close to home this summer as well. Tape for my camera has gone up too. Buying in bulk helps. Good thing I had lots of tape when the prices went up. Hopefully they will come back down before I have to order more.

Here is the last one. Scenes from today and more static boat displays from Friday night. Didn't get that much today before I started feeling ill so I had to supplement that with some other clips. Plenty of runs though and lots of beautiful noise :)

This one you'll have to download. Its some runs but its only half the compression as the other downloads so its nice and sharp. Wish I could do them all this way but they would be too big and they won't strream when the bandwidth is 2meg.

The video is great...  GOOD JOB!!

WOW that is a lot of hits. There will be plenty more drag boat videos coming from ProMoFo. Exciting stuff has been happening the past few days concerning drag boats and shooting video. Some cool stuff in the pipeline. All I can  say right now is I WILL be in Phoenix with my camera shooting the World Finals.

Next year I'll be at all the races in Tx. Haven't seen the schedules yet but I suppose that wil be Marble Falls, San Angelo, Waco and Ft Worth. If there are more that I can get too I'll go film those as well.

Like I said some cool stuff in the pipeline. Stay tuned :)
