This note was posted in July, shortly after Dick died but I do not know what happened to it.  Dick died on June 29, 2003 of an aneurisum of the aorta. He died on the operating table.  He was 60. Guess we should all be that lucky to go that way.

I miss him horribly, even after 4 years. We raced ADBA Jetboats and USAC Sprint Cars. We ran El-Boat-O and El-Boat-O-Two-0. In the 80's and early 90's til they wanted to go with capsules and Dick wanted no part of that.
