Hello-My name is Paulette Kershner. My husband was Richard Kershner. We raced a RRJ called EL-Boat-O #96 (#096) in the '80's. We also raced a second RRJ called El-Boat-O-Two-0 driven by Richard Huffmon. Richard (Dick)Kershner passed away on June 29, 2003 of an aortic aneurisum on the operating table. He was just 60. We live in Jeffersonville, Indiana and own a steel fabricating company. Just wanted to reach out to those of you who may have remembered us.
As an added note I will be selling 3 race boats, an Eliminator, a Cheyenne and a Mantra as well as a race semi that hauls two boats and is set up for racing, engines, racing equipment and tools. Anyone interested should call Richard Huffmon at 812-288-7619, Claudia Kershner 812-282-9652. Anyone wanting to get in touch with me--elvira@bellsouth.net or 812-282-2578. Richard knows the most about the racing equipment. Thanks guys. We only raced with ADBA and always had a ball.

If I remember correctly, didn't Richard have "Piggy-Sue" and "Patsy Swine"? Also if memory serves me correctly, Bowers had to "kiss the pig" after a fund raiser for Jerry Wallace's wheelchair in High Point circe 1988 or 89?
