Depends on the size of the glass and who's doing the estimating.  One person patrial to a particular glass may think that it has 200cc's in it and tell everyone it's full, while another person may actually take the time to measure the contents and see that it contains just 111cc's.  Of course, if you put that 111cc's in a smaller glass,  it would be full.

Either way, my glass is always half full; and I truly enjoy stirring it up on your site, Duane!

hey paul  when you have to go to rescue a crashed racer its my view that the method of retreveal is wrong . to struggle and pull at the capsule to get it on the rescue boat waste valuable time. most of the time they are water logged and way heavy. I propose a ramp that is lowered under the capsule while the hook and line keeps the racer upright. raise the capsule with the ramp not the winch thats my view

Lets see, half full vs half empty.....Hmmmmm....Too much of one and not enough of the other…I guess it comes down to point of view…Lets ask ourselves a couple of simple questions and see if we can muddy things up even more.

#1, Does it bother you if the toilet paper roll feeds over the top towards you or away from you against the wall? It would bother me more if it wasn’t there at all.

#2, If you’re around someone that is homicidal-suicidal is it wrong to add to their problems by wishing them to be dyslexic as well?

I guess I have the entire off season to think up more….It better hurry up and snow so I can go back to work. Get my thoughts directed to working in blizzards. Skiing on my days off. Chomping at the bit for the season opener in March…

Pray for an excellent snow pack to provide us with enough water to be able to live and race on…

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY

Never have understood the "1/2 Empty Thing" .......

Logically (Mathematically) Doesn't Make Sense because:

+  EMPTY = 0.00000

+  1/2 X 0.00000 = 0.00000 (Note:  Any # Times 0.00000 = 0.00000)

So,  no matter what the level of the fluid in the "glass" ....... it has to be

Some Portion Of FULL ..... can't be any fraction of "Empty" because if it

was ....... It Would be ZERO (Empty ... any # X Zero).

The Above, Just a Crew Chief's perspective.

Happy "Off Season" to All
