[qoute]These pics are the aftermath of the Perpetual Motion Blown Fuel Hydro crash that happened in March 1969, at Long Beach Marine Stadium. My dad, Tets Ishimaru was driving, the throttle got stuck and the boat collided with an spectator boat.
My dad survived, but was broken up pretty bad, spent 3 months in the hospital, and several months in a cast from chest to toes (Minor injury to one of the spectators). You can partially see in the pics the single unit W-Drive that Bill Harrison designed and built. I was told by Dave Norton (boat owner), that the bent over lever (left of the driver's seat) was for the fuel shut off valve.
