If that boat number is 047 I think it is Bill Townley In the Mud Hen, formerly of BFF fame.

John, yeah Dave wishes he was the owner of 'Dave's Toy'! That is actually my old boat 'Dad's Toy', the new owner freshened it up with some new paint and built a blown gas engine for it. His name is Dave but not the mud slinger nono that critized me for not building my engine while having fun on this thread! Some mate he is.....shakehead Anyway, Rick, you might have on that one......

hop Hooray! I got you all......back to square 1 with the beers!!!!!lol OK, it was a boat called 'Crucifier', BAH driven by Gail Remy at a NJBA/KCBC at Bakersfield April 1979. It was a Chevy powered Sanger. Today's 'guess who' is a little different. We have a collection of old photos, some we know the boat names, but we would like to put drivers and owners to the boats. Can anyone identify who is at the wheel for us? Boat names, owners and drivers will put us out of our misery.

Gary,

Are you sure that is Crucifier? In 76 they went to the Arias.

Rick, I'm only going on what the old 'Race Boat and Industry News' had printed. Given, the pic may have come from another year, but that's what it said about the 'Crucifier' machinesmilewinkgrin.  Hey, thanks for the names on the missing photos, here is a few more for i.d.

Gary

#4 near lane is Dave Nolte in Assbite. I can't tell who is in the far lane.

#5 I'm not sure who is driving Mr. Ed in this picture. Maybe Thomas or Rob Steele know.

I would guess the magazine is right on Crucifier. The boat looks different in black and white.

Keep posting the old pictures. This is a lot of fun.
