| Mark, sorry I didn't have everything together so I could send updates for the race but when I have to spend the amount of time that it takes to put on a race let alone one with a T&T that we have never done before for some unknown reason I just flat ran out of time. I want to thank everyone that made the trip to Dexter from IHBA and hope you all had a good time. Even though it will be late I will post the round by round results tommorow and hope we will have everything set up for Lakeside. After 5 days at the lake I am ready to get some sleep and I can tell you now that with the boat being broke I have come to the general conclusion that being a spectator while a lot less stress is only half the fun. I took a few shots. Actually quite a few. With the test and tune day in there I set a new personal record for amount of shots taken. I was the guy up on top of the houseboat Saturday and Sunday. I've posted in the photo section but it hasn't shown up yet, Duane's having too much fun in Georgia I think.

Thanks, appreciate the kind words. Thta new lens is a nice piece of equipment, I'm really enjoying it and the platform I'm shooting from lately. Tim, your boat looked rock solid all weekend, that pass against Collins in the semis was so close!
Ralph is looking like a contender in the wheelie contest heading down to the start line too, thanks for giving the crowd a show. Looks pretty good in pictures too. |

I am kinda curious too
not gonna blame my prop bearing failure on my sorry azz reation time but.......
Did you notice he only ran 85 MPH against me at a 10.30sumtin......I did have a little room to beat him to the stripe with less ET,but sucks for me
Then in his second round he does the same thang 10.30 at 84 MPH against the 014 boat that only runs 10.50:(
Is he sandbagging like crazy or what..........

Mitch had a variety of problems all by the ramp. The chute on his driving suit popped open, he was having some trouble with the ring gear and the boat just wouldn't fire. Jim DeBoard was telling me the starter is mounted a little different in that application and it's tough on ring gears. |

i know other guys with a similar starter configuration. it takes some time and patience to get it right.
kev, i don't think they get extra points for running 0's . he was doing the same thing i did, which in retrospect wasn't very smart. running an .84 in that first round was pretty surprising to me. after 6 previous runs, i thought i knew where i was... |
