I dropped my trailer off at the track on Thursday and also got the boat teched...  For the first time in 8 years I left the track and came back home, not running test and tune nor staying at a motel because money is so tight  right now. Its nice to live so close from Tracy.  I guess were lucky to have 4 fuel boats showing up at the last 3 races. I heard after today's driver's meeting the boat count was 93 with some more boats expected to roll in Saturday morning. Will be back in the morning with possibly 4 qualifiers in each class.  Good luck to everyone...

iq wants to thank all the race teams that showed such class and showed up at the Chowchilla race. Hopefully  your pre race efforts to convience all parties that this event and others like it are a necessity to the local business owners in this small town. I hope some of you will take the time to email or contact  the city manager  and let her know  how much you appreciate her efforts. This race has been floundering for several years and is very close to going away, next year will be no different unless a date is set and wheels are set in motion now. On a side note it was great to see old friends, I,m off to Altamont Speedway we run a day show on the 1/2 mile see you all Sunday.
