Less than a week away and the enthusiasm is building to an all time high. Racers from all over are making the trek for the $$$$ and contingency awards that have been donated by so many. A big boat count is expected for this event so a few things to keep in mind before your arrival:

1. Drivers Meeting. 7:00 sharp Saturday morning. Try and be on time as there is important info to be explained before the start of the race. We want to start the race with boats in the water at 8:00. Our days are shorter and we have a full program.

2.Long Trailer Parking. Many boats are planning on arriving early. We would like to ask those of you with large enclosed trailers NOT to parallel park along the fence where the road narrows in v-drive land. Specifically, BETWEEN the playground to the south and the trash barrel to the north (next to where Rick Box always parks)along the paved road. When large enclosed trailers parallel park here with one boat it uses the equivalent space of about 5 boats. Parking is a premium in this area and a large boat count is expected. Most large enclosed trailers have parallel parked south toward the entrance gate and this is fine. They have also parked in the area just before you enterthe dirt road to the in-ramp where it is wider and this is acceptable as well. To clarify, those with smaller enclosed trailers that park perpendicular are okay.

3. Digital Radio. Remember to bring your digital style radio for your pit area to hear your call to the launch ramp.

4. Fuel. Bring your own as it was my understanding that B. Busby will not be there with his fuel trailer.

I will update with race info as necessary. Thanks, Sam V Race Director
