In an effort to save someone a long round-trip drive from Marble Falls to Austin and back to pick me up from the airport tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon AND to save me the expense of a rental car for the weekend, I am wondering if anybody is flying in to Austin tomorrow (Thursday) around 12:00 pm (noon) that is willing and has the extra room in their rental car that I can hitch a ride out to the track???  I am flying from Oakland, CA on Southwest Arlines direct in to Austin and arriving at 12:00 pm.  I will not have any luggage to take up trunk space (although I am told I do carry "baggage" - but that's another issue all together)

I AM WILLING TO OFFER TO SHARE IN THE FUEL EXPENSE FOR THE RENTAL CAR IF WE CAN MAKE THIS WORK OUT...

Thanks for the offer.  If I don't get a offer closer to 12:00 pm, I will definitely give you a call.  Otherwise, it would get really EXPENSIVE for me to sit at the airport bar and drink until 3:30...
