Through the combined efforts of Larry Bless Concrete Construction, "Fast" Eddie Knox Racing & Glory Days TAH, The new Dave Myers/Beenie built Hydro is hard at work to debut the new Fueler at Red Bluff. Larry Bless a major supporter of both teams ( and a few more )will spearhead the transition of both teams into one. We are excited about the upcoming future of the Problem Child TFH and are confident Todd Plate will do a great job in the Top fuel ranks. Please understand that I give thanks to Scott Price for his efforts and consider him to be one of the very best drivers out there, and this change was truely a financial issue to try and combine two underfunded teams into one underfunded team. While we realize that performance takes time and testing we are confident that the talent and devotion of this team will yield positive results. With Russell Oshiro handling data aquisition and crunching numbers and Dave,Glenn,Jimmy,Curtis, Stevie and possibly some new crew members, we can't wait to get started. This being said the World record holding TAH and engines of Glory Days will be available along with a variety of parts, including props, clutch's, V-drives etc. the boat is for sale turn key but will seperate.(contact Todd for more info)MORE NEWS: soon to be available Scott Owens is developing an engine whirl-a-way to suit the up-coming rules revision for all single or twin screw boats. The new unit will be fitted between clutch and drive box instead of V-drive output shafts. This thing is BEEF and BADASS. After watching the Plum Crazy Shear the output shafts clean off ( thanks to Clinton and the additional horsepower he came up with during the offseason) without whirl-aways, we have decided to develope a drive-line disengage unit that will accomplish the same goal. For more info give Scotty a call at Owens transmissions. O.K. I'm just about out of breath. As always we are still looking for marketing partners (people with $$$) Good luck to all on the upcoming season. GOD BLESS AMERICA & DRAG BOATS (and understanding wives) Eddie Knox Racing |

Eddie, That's great news about your team. I am sure that with you and Todd banging heads that is going to be a tough team really soon. Thanks for taking time in PHX to visit with me and Mrs Dust...you guys rock. Hope to see you guys if you can make it to Texas, if not then maybe we will be back in PHX again this year. Good Luck this year. Bernie

Hi Duane, If I can get some pic's I will certainly share them. We are currently building the bullets and making all of the hardwre that we can in anticipation of the arrival of the finished hull. I have to say that I'm extremely impressed with the effort that Dave Myers and Beenie are putting into this project, this should be a real nice piece. We are trying are hardest to make one of the greatest races in all of drag boats Joe & Ali, the promoters from Red Bluff are probably two of the coolest guy's you will ever meet and are certainly two of the top people(and their group) involved in the conservation of the sport and putting on a top notch event. We will do our best to be there. I would like to thank Larry Bless for his commitment to supporting this program. I would also like to thank Red Line Oil,Russell Oshiro, Scott Owens racing, the Plate Family- Bill, Scott, Troy,Rick, Uncle Steve and all of the Glory Girls for their support. We are currently reviewing plans to make the eastern swing. (Waco, Marble, Augusta)we have always been treated well by all that Southern hospitality and some of the best damn briskit. But, we as all teams need some support. If any of you have a chance to set up some local sponsorship, anything from Fuel to hotels to eats, we would certainly appreciate it. We would be available for displays for local help. Without putting the cart in front of the horse, the first thing we have to do is finish the boat and make it run out West. Hope to see ya'll on the tour. E.K. Eddie Knox Racing |

The "PROBLEM CHILD" T.A.junior dragster, with Fast Eddie Jr.at the wheel, will be racing Saturday afternoon & night as part of the Jet car monster truck show at Firebird. He is part of an 8 car shoot out and will be qualifying about 2:00 p.m. with eliminations to start after the opening ceremonies. I know most of you will be busy racing or repairing, but if you get a chance walk over to the asphalt and check out the kids. Theses little cars haul a$$. See-ya there. E.K. Eddie Knox Racing |

Eddie... Cant go wrong with that type of shirt... Are you going to be at Phx. this weekend spectating or working with Todd. Hey! you should ask Todd if he wants to try out my trick reverser plate for the P.S.I. he seemed to be very interested in trying it out once he actually looked at it, and if so? let me know and I will tell Walt to give it to him if Todd goes by The shop. I will probably build 6 of them and have 2 or 3 to lone out they will sell themselves once people try them out... I have been in no hurry to push them. S/F...

Hey speedy, I will be there as spectator and crew chief for for ("Fast" Eddie Jr.) Unless he fires me. Todd will have his current crew and it sounds like they are prepared to get after it. I will be in space #5 tossin some carne and maybe even a few barley pops. This will probably be the last time I get to goof off and enjoy the scenery for a while. Well, maybe not the last time. Rescue dudes! It's been a while since we threw back some good Carne and Margaritas. Maybe I can talk Dick & Leslie to come out and join us. Leslie makes a mean Margarita. If you guy's smell cow burnin during test & tune, pull over and grab a taco, look for the Redline oil tent,I'll heave em over the fence. Let me know, so I can bring enough beef. Good luck to everyone! Eddie If there's dead animal burning and alcohol to be drunk; we're all over it! We're headed down in a few hours and are at the track all day Thursday testing our new equipment. We'll be more than ready for a margarita whenever the blender is set up. I'll bring a half gallon of ta-kill-ya for the kitty. And tell Junior that his fan club is stoked and can't wait to see him run Saturday night. See ya there. |

Regretfully "PROBLEM CHILD" will not make it to Redbluff. Dave Myers is doing a great job on the hull and it should be done in the next week or so. The team would like to thank LARRY BLESS, RED LINE OIL, and everyone who is supporting this effort. Todd and I and most of the guy's will be in Redbluff for the golf tourney, show & shine and to watch everyone get after that BOUNTY! Good Luck to all! E.K. Eddie Knox Racing |

Back east is definately in our plans. We would hope to go somewhere reasonably close (Bakersfield) to do some shakedown runs and for Todd to upgrade his license. Todd has been in the 5.30's at over 224 I don't think it will take long. E.K. Eddie Knox Racing |

I saw the boat at Myer's Fiberglass on Thursday, on my way to Bakersfield. Beannie was making the covers and David was still had to do some sanding on the seam. David said that he has to turn the hull over and drill the strut holes before he is done with it. It sure looks pretty, even if it is plain white. The natural wood floor and stringers will probably get another coat of clear before it leaves. It is sitting on a new very heavy duty dolly trailer.

Admin, I just picked up the new HotRod. Man o Man is she sexy. The craftsmanship is incredible, not a ripple or dimple in the entire boat. She is definately one big ol'B!tch. I can just squeeze her in the shop. I'm not sure when we will be ready, but we started pokin'holes in her this weekend. If you don't hear from me for a while, you know where I'll be. A special thank's to Dave Myers for the great work. E.K. Eddie Knox Racing |

Don't do it Eddie! Kim fired him; now Dave is getting rid of him for scaring the kids. This guy is the A.A. poster boy; and the fathers of at least (5) thirteen year old Texas girls are actively looking for him. You don't need the trouble.

Hos, have you ever heard of innocent until proven guilty? I have not been convicted of any of those charges. Besides, some of the girls were 14 and 15. I am going to consult my lawyer for all these slanderous acts. And nice going pissing off Kyle Walker. One of the greatest legends and ambassadors of this sport and you run him out of here. I'll bet Tony sure perked up when he saw that you have a position for a "bottom end guy". Criminy; he's considered an expert in this discipline...what with his living so close to San Francisco and he himself having the a$$ of a 12 year old boy...he might be just the guy you're looking for. |
