Sorry we all know I am avid supporter of the NDBA but I have not heard a word for long time and would love to update the NDBA website.

Afterall I have been paying the bill.

I talked to Joe last week asking about the NDBA meeting and how it went. He said that it was postponed until this coming weekend.

I'm afraid that the NDBA is not functioning as it was intended. The NDBA associations do not seem to be interested in the intent of the NDBA. Two of the associations co-point with IHBA and do not co-point with each other, there seems to be a competition for membership dues, purse structures and payout differences for each other's membership is a point of conflict, there are no territorial boundries being recognized, memberships may or may not be honored between associations, and etc. All we are left with is a rule book and even that is questionable.

Each of the associations have good reasons to be unhappy with each other and I'm not going to get into who is right and who is wrong or who did what first that started the conflicts. The focus seems to be on what one association has to do for itself to counteract what the other association did. One association does something in isolation to help itself and in turn, it harms the other and we all loose in the long run.

It looks like you either work with IHBA or you are on your own and the NDBA has no influence on the NDBA associations. The NDBA was a good idea but it isn't working at all as far as I can see because it relied upon cooperation between associations but has nothing to offer as a glue to hold the associations together.

This should give everyone a clue on what to expect from the co-points races.
