We are looking for a few good boat . There is a car show in Brady, TX on April 5. DeLaine has asked for 3 boats that might be able to display. Last year they had a good crowd and alot of interest was generated by the show. Please either contact DeLaine at delcar333@hotmail.comor myself at pgf489@aol.com. Thanks!

John or Delaine, does the car show coincide with the Goat Cookoff, I don't have a dragbaot anymore but I would like to go to the Cookoff and see the car show, I knew I shouldn't have sold that flat.

NOW...theres was your first mistake...JDL! Now you are going to have to buy a new TAF... And get into the swing of things again! If $$$ is a issue? increase the concreat pouring factor... S/F...

Spd, $$$$$ wasn't the issue, old age and too many pedals that must be applied at the precise instant or , and that could get ugly, I thought i could take my toy glat and go bracket racing, but it doesn't fit my motif, so I sold the lil' Hondo to someone who can get a lot of use out of it, and besides I needed the room in the shop, need to sell some more boats and a couple of pickups + my vette, then might be able to get in the door.

Joe Don, I might be able to help you out with the new TAF...I am still young enough to push all the extra pedals and you could have fun at the races...sounds like a great partnership to me. Bernie

JDL... I want in on that deal if it ever happens... Also P/M me what you are interested in selling... I once said I would never drive a TAF... But! I was not being honest to myself...Damn yah! I would get my tail in there faster then you could blink... Then I would worry about the A-WIPE factor afterwards... S/F... S/F...

Bernie, I just don't ever see me being an owner and not driving, and it is not because of me wanting to have all of the fun, it revolves around what could happen, and I don't think I could deal with that.

JDL, No the cookoff is much later. However we could arrange for a return trip for that event. Brady is where it is at! The City has given us a chance to have a great race and the Motels are not trying to get rich in one weekend. This is only the second year and already the City has made improvements to the park. They are now ready for 2003,lets give them a show!

Joe Don, If you get Ready to sponsor a TAF, let me know, I will make the sacrifice and step up. I'll take care of you, your own directors chair, with your name on it in the shade, fan blowing on ya, College sorority girls in Confederate flag Bikinis to bring you Cold Beer and give you back rubs if the chair starts to get uncomfortable! http://groups.msn.com/DixieExpress/_homepage.msnw?pgmarket=en-us |

127... You have a very valid point But! if every owner thought that way then you would not have as many teams out there racing. I some times really do wonder how Joe Amato, Kenny B., Don P. REALLY! feel inside...? I bet you that it really eats them up inside even though they do not say it. Like you, I have to agree that I could not except it very well giving up the shoe... ...hate to say that it would it me up... You can see people like BIG DADDY... Even though he is not the same as when he was at his peak... the PASSION, still lingers in his heart and the NEED FOR SPEED... it is a RUSH... Of course as we get older at times you start to wonder man... should I really be doing this? am I losing my edge, I havent won a race in a long time, its costing to much money, My wife is going to thru me out for? its her or the boat? I will say if you got a good woman DO NOT! LET HER GO... and if this last one comes up... winer and diner make sure your ready for the q? ok! my wonderful loving husband what do you what? then you tell your very loving sweetie...honey since I got out of the dragboat racing, some of the boys and I just purchased a Top Fuel Dragster... ...RUN LIKE HELL...when women are pissed they have a throwing arm that will put ANY! major league pitcher to shame! and they never mess... think about it why... do men ALWAYS...have to duct? my point exactly. Then after... IF you are lucky that she threw a wild pitch and missed you... then be and tell her the truth is that you did not really buy a TFD you were only kidding... and IF your lucky she will just give you that eat $**** and die look with a smile. Then now that you are sure what her reaction is you can go buy a remote control hydro and run it in the pool and do not forget to add remote missile luanchers to aim at your sweetie when she is in the kitchen window washing dishs... ...sorry honey this one got away from me Direct hit... S/F...

Speed, Joe Don might not wanna pour that much concrete, and I know I dont wanna bail that much hay. Then there is the Question of who would we race? It's not much fun when you are the only one, I know, I done that for a long time, but if I hadn't, I believe the BGF class would be gone forever, now We makin a comeback and I am looking for maybe 5 or 6 of us at each race this year, should be fun if they can keep there stuff running! http://groups.msn.com/DixieExpress/_homepage.msnw?pgmarket=en-us |

MORE BOATS THE BETTER... But! you fellas are brave to run on gas... That is a pain for most, hard on parts and very sensetive with you are always leaning on that puppy. Good luck to you my friend, and hope that the class makes a comeback... ...I would think those fellas in the lower classes that run blown flats in P/E, etc. would step up to gas... S/F...

I try to talk them into it., but they are all alcoholics, I mean hooked on alcohol or well you know what I mean, like you said alky is easier on parts and a lot harder to screw up and they can make more money in the brackets than the pro class. http://groups.msn.com/DixieExpress/_homepage.msnw?pgmarket=en-us |

John, sounds like a good deal for publicizing the cause, kind of reminds me of the way the Choteau, Okla. area got all worked up about the races, and that is great for the sport, it always felt great to be welcomed by the whole area, good luck on a great season, Carol and I are going to try and attend more than we have in past years.

Joe Don, if you are talking about Pat, I think the man that would sell him a machine like that might be hung at a race, I mean he already jumps through the roofs of perfectly good golf carts and cooks in the pits wearin nothin BUTT an apron, no tellin what might happen if that machine was in his posession http://groups.msn.com/DixieExpress/_homepage.msnw?pgmarket=en-us |

Hummm... I will pass on this one... Knowing my luck! some gust of wind would come up blowing that apron up and Mrs. D. and Melton and a few others would be horrified... ...then ol quick draw S/F would reach for MrDixies bazooka shooter with the lazer sight and kill that beast dead... OK! now lets go back and finish eating dinner... S/F...

Ha, Speed knowing Mrs D and melton, the only way they would be horrified would be if they missed it when the wind blew. Oh and my Wildey doesnt have the laser sight thing on the rib, that picture Is the same model and barrel length as mine, but I found it on the web and it was easier than me trying to post a picture, so with the open sights you may have a hard time hitting that target, LOL of course sometimes you hear people bragging about being able to strike a match at 50 yards so you may can do it. http://groups.msn.com/DixieExpress/_homepage.msnw?pgmarket=en-us |
