Posted By scott cone on 13 Aug 2010 10:27 AM will you be posting #'s for T & T today? or where is the link to follow the rounds? thank you for the reports! click back to the home page, look in the upper right area (where the MST thing is on this page), and you'll see an orange box that says "race results". click on that. when the page comes up, scroll down to some drop down menus. drop down the menu for "event", and select marble falls. you are there, and will the list of all runs. there's also a menu to select by class, and another menu to select qualifying, eliminations, other, to narrow down the result. tomorrow, it's best to select "qualifying", and sunday "eliminations". works bitchin! |

well....... for those of you that were following the story about STEVE WELCH, p/m 210 "SEEING RED AGAIN" and him buying a motor, ok, tried to get away with not paying in full for it ( which is part of the story that hasn't been told but not so important here )and decided he was done paying as he said "times were tuff" even after the bil of sale and judgment!! well.... apparently they aren't that tuff as he has 2 boats in Marble Falls this weekend. According to Matt Wheeler, he said “he knows he owes me money and needs to get it to me” but still nothing!!!! I should probably meet the mailman at the box to grab my check……….. still not here, I went and double checked the box, still nothing there. oh, and just in case any of you missed this, here is the link... http://www.performanceboats.com/htm...hp?t=69463 |

scott, i suppose i can understand your frustrations. but anyone that was interested has already read about this issue, which is really a personal issue between you and steve. continuing to post this is like same song, different day, and it's getting to be a broken record. PB has already locked down that thread. that thread's been locked, and continuing to post the same story over and over doesn't seem to be helping you resolve the issue. continuing to post the same issue over and over again could just as easily get you banned from all three forums, which is probably not the solution you're looking for. other people have been banned for less. just sayin... food for thought. |

It's already getting warm and qualifying has started for some of the slower classes....... Right now winds, and in the wrong direction, are possibly going to delay the Pro classes and shuffle things around |

BP...really wish you were here to defend that title!!! But, it has been HOT (over 100) and humid. There is very good boat count, 122+, but sure wish more of our west coast racers would have able to make the trip. #1 qualifiers are Stan Tweedy and Brian Schmidl. T/E has been amazing with over half of the 21 entrants in the 9.0's. Bausher was 2 thou off the T/AF record. Lumbert in Spirit of TX...WOW...3.64 @ 255...it looked so effortless...a great run. The Jerry Davis tribute definitely caused a tear to be shed by many, myself included...I had to hand Roger the mic a couple of times. Those of you who stayed away because of the sanctioning issues...please plan on making the trip to Marble Falls next year...you WILL feel welcome! Hope to see all of you at a west coast race later in the year or maybe 2011. |

Those of you who stayed away because of the sanctioning issues...please plan on making the trip to Marble Falls next year...you WILL feel welcome! Hope to see all of you at a west coast race later in the year or maybe 2011. Rick, thank you for the thoughts. i spoke with greg 2 weeks ago, and he was very much up in the air about going, sounded like he wasn't going to make it. had i known he was going, it could have made a difference. racing with greg is always an incentive. it would have been great to see your smilin face again and chat for awhile! it's not necessarily a sanctioning issue, at least for me. that it was an sdba club race wasn't a concern. feeling welcome wasn't an issue either (although i'll say again, the hospitality of KDBA is unmatched anywhere). there were not only western boats absent, but also eastern boats. the fact is, lucas has no championship points program for sportsmen/brackets, which has been an incentive in the past (there's also no program for western promods, but that's their story to tell). couple that with the fact that the purse (if you're lucky enough to win) barely covers fuel cost to tow out there and back, and that lodging in and around marble falls increases rates 20%-40% just for this weekend, it complicates the decision to go. i'm not one to shy away from travel just because it's a long way, but i'm at the point that the incentive needs to be there for me to spend the kind of money it takes for that trip. hopefully, things change next year. congrats to greg carr for his win in ME... |

I just watched the video. The way I counted the timer down, Buzzy's capsule hit the deck of the Rescue Boat almost one minute to the exact second after the capsule hit the water. That's one hell of a job Rescue. |
