I heard as of yesterday Lake Elsinor race has been cancelled due to possible unsafe coarse. So Lucas is trying to get with the city of Chowchilla to move the race thier. As of today a possible promoter is meeting with the City of Chowchilla Tomorrow night 8/05/2010 at 7pm and he is asking to have any Boat Racers show up to help give thier input on why a race would be good for thier City. Please attend to give support .mMeting will be held at the City Hall next to the Police station. Everyone is welcome to attend.

It wont be happening this year.  The water is being cut off on Sept 10.  The Bureau of Reclamation controls water deliveries and is forcing the Water Dist. to Water Bank the remaining water for next year.  This is because the early forcasts show a drier rainy season next year than last year...
Its a shame it could not have happened earlier, when I inquired very early this year I was told that Lucas had their schedule all set and that Chowchilla was out for the 2010 schedule....
Water has been in the reservoir since March. 
APBA had a good turnout in July.
Oh well, what do I know?
