I got out to a spot on the Harrison River a couple of weeks back where the salmon run is still strong. Just a little north of the border but still pretty cold, we had an Arctic chill hanging in there for a while. So I risked frostbite with a full flask and some cold camera equipment. If I get another sunny day  this week I'll get out there again, there's still some better shots out there. Kind of like fishing, they don't hang in the same spots all the time.

Steve, those are absolutely amazing shots. Thanks for sharing. I couldn't possibly pick one. You should have some calendars made and sell them. Sign me up for the 1st one.

What are the ones without the bald heads? It looks like some juveniles but there looked to be some adults as well.

There were a couple of golden eagles there too, they are a little larger and have more squared off wings from what I'm told. It's a pretty spectacular display out there, unless you get close you don't realize how big they are. There's even better shots out there, same old story about the right place at the right time. I will do something with these shots, not sure what yet.
