"The Victorian bushfires has affected everyone in Victoria and Australia and the Victorian Drag Boat Club will be doing their bit to ensure is helps to assist those who have lost everything in these devastating fires. The February 15th club day race meeting at the National Water Sports Centre in Carrum and the March 15th Australian Drag Boat Nationals which incorporates the Bill Davis Memorial for the Blown Hydros and the 'Yella Terra' Cup for the BAD boats also at the same venue, the VDBC will be contributing to the Bushfire Appeal by donating proceeds from raffles and auctions held on both days direct to the appeal. So make sure you attend both days racing and bring along your wallet and purses full of goodwill and please contribute generously to help those in need. See you at the drag boat races".
