Looks like we have some more contingency prizes for the winners of the 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, and 10:00 brackets again, like last month.
I willl also be giving out a cd to each of the winners in these 4 classes, and runner-ups will be receiving an 11 x 17 enlargement of their choice of pics from the Finals race.

Rex just called, I guess he made a half track for Ron. He said it left pretty hard but went into serious vibration at about the 1/8th.
How's that for sportsmanship???? One pro helping out another!!
By the way, Rex YOUR FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is a copy of the same dever hydro twin screww that became well known in 2004 as the 4.90 TFH bracket boat. From the looks of the two runs today the new boat will be a 4.90 bracket boat once again.

Well I had a great time, We know how to Adjust the boat to fix the Vibration,Plus the updates are all done to IHBA Specs.Plus the Super driving Job by Rex Childress not to mention his cooking. Humm A driver who can cook and Drive in any situation. The boat will haul butt.
Looks Like we have a winner again.
NJBA where do I start the nicest people around the clocks perfect the pitting perfect.
NJBA bent over backwards for us and we appreciate all of it.All in All a perfect weekend for us.

This from Ron Braaksma
gotta tell ya personally i had one of the best times this weekend ive had in a long time, the njba and their entire staff were so kind as to let us come and be a part of that. they and all their members and all the fans were just so kind and made us feel so welcome. we were lucky enough to hire rex and his staff to take care of all our meals over the weekend and MY GOD can they cook or what. i was amazed how quick the boat responded and ran to the 1/8 as far off as the motor was.no dout we got a hot rod that can compete at anytime with anyone out there.as far as who will drive it when we get to go again? i will if i have to BUT as far as rex? ITS ALL HIS if he and his wife would like. that is one good driver and person.as far as mrs childress goes? huh she gets a limo to come to the track as long as shes bringin that pasta salad! dam that was good! anyways : thanks again njba, their members, the fans, and everyone who made this weekend so enjoyably. R.B.

Ron,
It was great to see you at the race. It never ceases to amaze me how much information T-Rex is able to provide when he returns from a pass.
I promised the girls who were selling your t-shirts I would be back to buy a couple of shirts.  I even gave them some of the chocolate cake I always bring to the races for Tracy and others to enjoy.  Needless to say you were packed up and gone before I made it back for the shirts. I hope you make it back in March for more testing. The Madness Team is a "Fan Favorite" and it does look like you have yourself another 4.90 bracket boat.

Take care,

Brad How's it going...On my screen I'm seeing something superimposed on the screen that jumbles up the type of two posts... Might be something with the computer I'm on at the moment...I'm over at a friends place.

BTW Duane said you may be attending the WF's....Say it's so because it's an excellent chance that I'll be there helping T-Rex out...

Take care

Would someone that this is happening to please have the window open and press Alt and the Prt Scr/Sys RQ keys at the same time and send me a snapshot image of what you are seeing.

or

Go to http://DBSims.com and click on the Go To Assist link, sign in and let me take a look at what you are seeing please!

Go To Assist is a tool I use at work for working on remote comupters it is harmless and you have full control over its use and I can see everything you see in real time.

It is now 4:36 PM and I will be available until 9 PM tonight.

Thanks

Duane

Tod, Now I'm on my laptop and everything has cleared up....???? Maybe it's a desktop vs. laptop thing???? Go Figure...Anyway I hope Brad's pc is working. After all of the time we've talked here or on the phone it looks like we may actually get a chance to break open several cold ones while at the same race...

Rumours we heard lots of them this past weekend!!!

However the rumours maybe it realy great to see Ron back and walking around with the biggest grin on his face!!!

Gaz I am sure someone has a video but they have not shared it with us yet. I will post a few sequence shots here in the next few minutes as a teaser from Speed Freak and Mark and I are working on his photos.

Rex made the comment last night after the fact he, wished I had put the camera in the boat, I wished he asked since I had it with me and would have done it without questions.

It would have been good for Ron to see what was going on in the driver's seat!!!

There was a statment made that the next plan for Madness was to go fab up a claim shell assembly and if they bring it back next March would Rex shake it down for Ron again and the answer was yes.

As for an international tour with an Aussie and Yank let hope we can do it in 2009/2010 season between the USA and Australia...
