TE 094 Liquid Addiction will be there. We are looking forward to this year. Last year my son ended up in the hospital on Friday night after the show and shine and had to have his apendix removed on Sat morning. He was such a trooper and made it back to the track for second round on Sunday. |

Some new information from the IHBA Website: May 6, 2008 From NEC: Rules to be observed for the Red Bluff Race: For your safety and the safety everyone else, please help us comply with The US Forest Service requirements. This year we will have several safety officers on site evaluating our program and here are a few rules that must be exercised. You must meet these conditions or will not be able to pit. 1. All teams must have some sort of underlying underneath their boat at all times while in their pits. A tarp or some sort of a vinyl material that would catch any spills of fuel or petroleum products. Indoor outdoor rugs are not expectable. The material must keep the liquids from penetrating the ground. 2. 2. All race teams must have a Fire extinguisher visibly placed in their pits. Do not place the extinguisher near the flammables, because you cannot get to it in case that flammable bursts in to flames, but rather locate them in an outer extremity of your pits so it is accessible. 3. 3. All race teams must store their fuel containers inside the trailer or in the back of the pickups with some sort of containment underneath them. (i.e. you can’t have them on the ground next to your BBQ.) 4. 4. No smoking will be permitted in your immediate pit area and No Smoking signs must be displayed. We We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to safe and environmentally friendly event. NEC Management. |

Thanks Jake for reminding everyone, I posted the info last Friday when Ali sent it to me under the ATENTION RACERS thread. Hopefully everyone will get the info prior to showing up in Red Bluff and get caught off guard... hmm maybe I should come up early with a load of DBRi tarps to sell to those who don't know in advance!!!! LOL |

Don't forget, as soon as you arrive and get your pit area assigned, we'd like to see everyone at the RFC fund raiser on Thusday at 1PM. There are limited spaces available, so if you plan on playing, you need to contact Ali at ali@necsports.com or PM me for additional info. Briefly, it is a 4-person triathalon, all events being held on the casino property. During Stage 1, you and your team will be at a 20-station sporting clay shoot. The casino will provide the shotguns and all of the ammuntion, as well as an assistant at each station to assist. Stage 2 is golf on the John Daly championship course (includes cart, and "beverage service girls" will be on the course to tend to your thirst needs). Stage 3 is a reception and slot tournament inside a private room at the casino. Winning team ends up with a cash prize. Proceeds go to Jim Jack/RFC. How could this NOT be a blast??? |

Loose Cannon will NOT be in Red Bluff based on my last conversation with Greg. They are still getting their parts issue straightend out. They are hoping to get ready by the end of June for the SDBA San Angelo race along with 5 other fuel teams. |

Good to hear Whiskey Rivier might be there, but no Loose Cannon? Man, it's almost like the Nitro Nationals isn't happening this year. Just kidding, but I'll happily be there anyway. FINALLY A WEEK AWAY! |

BETTER CHECK THIS
I am being told there is a problem with nitro and the original supplier contracted to supply will not be supplying any nitro
VP Fuels have really screwed up the nitro situation for racing in general |
