2 weeks to launch! Chris has rebuilt the engine, had the heads repaired and freshened and he's ready to go! He even had the local newspaper do an article about the boat with a colour picture of it! He's ready and pacing up and down the house....

your kidding right Stacey?  Working too hard??? He shot off to Queensland to visit my mate David just out of Brisbane, now he's in Cairns in Far Nth Qld, he's been to the Great Barrier Reef snorkelling  , been to the rainforest up there, due in Sydney this weekend sometime and is renting a car for the long drive back to Melbourne ready for the drag boat races next weekend! I'd say he's flat out working, wouldn't you? |

Working hard - like he says there are no days off since he retired. It is a 24/7 365 days a year job. If we could only have it so rough. lol Glad to hear he is enjoying himself though since he is not getting any younger (you can tell him I said that)

I find it very difficult to post on this thread! 
Mike is in Australia and we are not there too?! Dave and Yvonne are great people I would love to see them again. This time they need to come this way for a boat race and a visit to the beautiful Sonoma County wine country. Gary, you and Kathy need to head back this way! Forget So Cal, No Calif is the place you wanna be!
Mike glad you are having a great time....seems as you are way toooo busy for a quick post here! Its quicker and cheaper then all those post cards I saw you sending from last trip!!

Mike you and Gaz should go check out the location for the $25 million-plus motorsport complex in Adelaide and get them to include drag boats in the plans. Then we could host a world finals down under in joint with VDBC and IHBA.
