I just wanted to thank all the race teams, NEC Sports and the IHBA for their hospitably they extended to Gary James at the 31st Nitro Nationals last week. For those who did not meet Gary (which would surprise me) is from Melbourne Australia and is a integrate part of Drag Boat Racing down under. He has been in many roles of the VDBC and now owns the former Kurtis craft owned by Gary Kincad and Mark Workintine which was sold to Craig Cook and Paul Madil a few years ago. They tried to run it as a fuel boat down under but decided to purchase a new Dunn Bullet which they now have; Gary will be running the boat in PM.

Additional thanks to Gary, Christina and Steve for being part of our International Bad Bi-Athalon Hecklers Team.

Gary spent a lot of time in our pits sharing stories of your great country and of drag boat racing "down under."  He is a great ambassador for both and I am glad to have met him.  Hopefully some day I can make a trip to one of your races and share a few beers in his pit!!

Hope you had a great time here, Gary.

   Barnes!

If you ever go down under, leave their beer alone, one of their beers is equal to one our tall six packs, its dark and kicks too!

              See you in Chowchilla...scool
