A buddy of mine that drags flats in Australia told me they are having a big drag race this weekend. It's Australia Day Weekend, like our 4th of July. And they are billing it as Australia Vs the US. He said one US team bought his boat from him to compete and that there was a US TFH team there to run against Nitro Thunder. Does anyone know what US team(s) are there? Any other US teams go over? He promised me pictures and updates all weekend.

Maddness would be my guess too! It was talked about Ron taking his boat down before however I talk to Gary James today and thats not the case. They have a circle boat race this weekend and next week they will be drag racing but no second fueler is known to be downunder. |

Craig Cook bought the Dunn outrigger instead, as far as I know Ron still has his boat.

Well, I haven't got any reports back from buddy, knowing him, he's on day two of a 3 day alcohol induced stupor!
How many of the Dunn outrigger's are there? I have only seen Nitro Thunder, it sure is a good looking hull!

Dan I agree with you Paul did an awsome job with the details and paint. Here in the states there is the Hot Licks Bullet that Daryl drives AKA The Berry man Bullet. Jim also has one coming out this year I believe as the Millwaukee Bullet Pro Mod. |

Thanks, Admin! That makes sense now, I always thought the Berryman Bullet was an awesome boat as well, I just never connexted them. I have to build a model of that one some day!
I heard from my Aussie buddy, Nitro Thunder is there, but only one American team showed in a K-Boat, I don't know who though. He promised pics "tonight" so I should have some tomorrow to share.

Duane!
I talked with Paul last night after we got back form "Vegas," he said the wind never calmed down to make a safe pass, their going to try again next weekend.
Paul was ready for some seat time, Im sure Craig is ready to see the boat make a good pass, its been a while since it was in the water last.....Paul will call me as soon as it makes a run, and you will know as soon as I can turn on the computer.

I herd the same thing from Paul"... when I was their, but now that he has driven a Outrigger, he may not like the short Deaver" even after I built it as heavy as it is. That boat is a real handful, but I don't think their is any boat that has run as many 4.90s in a row as RBs Deavers,
Paul has raced Aussie K boats for a long time, he could just really enjoy that small Deaver.

If you don't mind my asking, what are the dimensions on your out rigger? I think it has to be one of the finest boats I have ever seen, I'm dyeing to make an R/C scale model of one!
