The very unofficial boat count is about 70 boats. We will have a firm number either tonight or tomorrow am. It has been a little windy today hopefully it will die down for tomorrow.

Hotlicks and Speedsport made their first passes of the season. Hotlicks ran 5.293 @ 205.98. Speedsport ran 5.699 @ 152.58 very nice passes right out of the box. Eddie Knox is working on getting his brand new Centurion bullet boat Problem Child on the water and down the track. He was hoping to make it today but it looks like we will see him tomorrow.

Remember to find results from todays racing click the Lakefest 2007 Update icon on the homepage and check out all of todays racing action!! You also can get to the Race Report from the menu by going to Racing > Race Venue the select the venues Race Report link. You can also make comments about the venue under each race report.

I was hanging with Problem Child and the gang but I must say Speed Sports Special's 4.67 ET deserves a huge CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go. PC's coming no doubt about that............. Oh and congrats to The entire Hot Licks gang on the big victory!!!!!!

I must say this past weekend flew by and was a great venue. Charlie Allen and his Firebird staff did an excellent job packing the grand stand.

My only regret was not having time to socialize with everyone. Jak, next time just grab me and say hello like honda094 did!

Ralph thanks for saying hello, I look forward to visiting more at the next race.

Also like to say a thank you to everyone behind the scene, you know who I am talking about, yes they are the ones working their tails off, and yep that's who I am talking about!!!

Thanks Hoot for giving Jarrett one bad hot rod and Jarrett congratulations on your first top fuel win! Congratulation John on the leg on the record, Amos is the best!!!

Eddie that new Centurion Bullet showed a great potential, there is no doubt you'll have it figured out by Red Bluff Nitro Nationals.

Tod, Mike had a great weekend; however even with his great run in the finals, he beat himself with a red light against Kent.
