LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON IRVINE LAKE RENUNION NEXT WEEKEND. I BROUGHT THE FIRST JET SKIES TO BOAT RACING THERE. STILL HAVE THEM. THE SPECIAL EVENTS DIRECTOR AT THE LAKE IS ON VACATION UNTILL NEXT MONDAY. WILL UPDATE THIS POST AS SOON AS I HAVE SOME INFORMATION DRAGBOAT MIKE SCHILLER

 

THANKS HOWARD I REGISTERED YESTERDAY AND AM PLANNING ON SPENDING FATHERS DAY AT LAKE IRVINE. THIS TRACK WAS IN MY BACK YARD AND IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED FOR ME. NEVER FORGET WHEN FRANK DADE CRASHED AND JOE PISANO STAYED UNTILL WE FOUND HIS BROTHERS BOAT HE NEEDED THE FUEL PUMP FOR THE FUNNY CAR FOR THE LAST DRAG RACE @ ORANGE COUNTY

I WILL TAKE AS MANY PICTURES AS I CAN PERHAPS SOMEONE CAN POST THEM

I DON'T KNOW BUT IRVINE LAKE LOOKS PRETTY GOOD FOR A RACE. HAD A LOT OF FUN RAN THE BOAT HARD AND EVERYONE LOVED IT. IF YOU HAVE AN OLD RACE BOAT PLAN TO GO NEXT YEAR IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE YOUR GRAND KIDS FOR A RIDE. NOT MANY DRAG BOATS. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED I TOOK A LOT OF PICTURES

  I also think this is a great event iq has helped with it in the past and the kids and will make every attempt to be there next year. I have mentioned this severl times the Irvine managment team is very open to a drag race I will be glad to help someone get it off the ground. By the way this Wally Parks brother that puts this event  togather so he has great conections. HJ
