The race in Pennsylvania is just about a go. The Race Dates will be September 20 , 21 , 2003 and will be santioned by the IHBA. I would like to thank the IHBA for their support! i am sorry to report that this race has been canceled due to the fact that politics got involved in having the event. Rich Otto the township supervisor who voted for the race changed his mind for homeland security. He was worried that the race would be a target of some terrible attack so he changed his vote against the race after he voted for it and told 100 members of our boat race club it was a go. Since this happened he decided not to run next year when he found out that we were going to expose what he did to us through a 30,000 piece mailer. The new canidates are pro racing and hopefully we will be able to get it approved at a later date.
